I am an executive, advisor, author, teacher, and speaker who has focused my career on helping individuals succeed at and advance within high-performance environments, and on helping organizations drive results through their people. 

Over the past dozen years I have led leadership development and human capital efforts inside a variety of leading firms, and currently work as an external consultant and advisor. I have expertise in all aspects of talent management including acquisition, assessment, development, diversity, workforce analytics, reward, succession planning, team effectiveness and individual coaching. My experience set includes driving major corporate culture, communications, and "employer brand" initiatives, as well as partnering with C-level executives on HR components of corporate strategy. 

In addition to my full-time career, I am a journalist and author covering senior leadership issues. My work has appeared in major business publications including the Harvard Business Review (as columnist and features writer), New York Times Sunday business section, Washington Post Sunday Business Section, and Journal of Applied Corporate Finance. I have also designed and taught courses at the MBA level.
